And in 2005, he started performing at The Laugh Factory in Times Square. His remarkable talent and ability to connect with audiences jump started his career that soon led to his inclusion in The Short Bus Comedy Tour.

New York Comedy in the 2000s

The New York City comedy scene in the mid-2000s was a vibrant and dynamic environment, characterized by a mix of established comedians and up-and-coming talent. Comedy clubs like the Comedy Cellar and Upright Citizens Brigade were hotbeds for experimentation and innovation. This period also saw the rise of alternative comedy, with comedians pushing boundaries and exploring new styles of humor.

A new generation of talent was coming out of a fresh scene where the world of entertainment was seemingly changing by the day.
